This mdoern kitchen serves as the focus of a great room. The client entertains large parties and also loves to cook. He also has a collection of African art displayed throughout the house.

We took the opportunity to let the kitchen itself become an artistic feature. Bold geometry and striking contrasts give it a festive quality. Pieces from the owner's art collection regularly migrate into and out of the space. Custom made cabinet handles, in the form of human figures climb up several of the cabinet doors, adding to the playful and spontaneous quality of the place.
